I agree so much with what you said. It's ridiculous to think that, as a parent, it's not your responsibility to monitor your children. If parents acted more like parents then there would be less of an issue with respect. I am a mother of one with another on the way. And I think it is absolutely up to the parent to BE A PARENT. If a person doesn't want to parent they shouldn't have kids. Period. I can't believe more people don't see it that way. It's easy to sit there and scratch your head and wonder why your kids don't respect boundaries, but if you aren't enforcing any, you don't deserve respect. Many parents don't see that, and I think it's awesome that you do.

Um.... Yeah. I live in Myrtle Beach, and unless they opened for Shinedown, they did not play last Tuesday. And they didn't. Sick Puppies did. Looks like stories are getting effed up all around.
