Hey, here is a crazy idea... why don't YOU lay off all the "Too Skinny-Too Fat" remarks that you spread on this site as well? For a change? I have read too many interviews with celebrities who say they started unhealthy diets to look skinnier after seeing something on a site like this. Don't perpetuate all this shit Perez. Hating on celebrities who are stupid/say something stupid/wear something stupid/act like a douche in public get what they deserve, but mocking someone who gained a few pounds or worked out a little too obsesively (Madonna?) does not really add anything to the discussion. Put Mushy/Rumer bashing to rest. I will gladly laugh at a bad outfit Mushy wears out in public, but mocking her anorexia, or Rumer's large head is just grabbing at straws, when there are so many other pathetic douchebag "celebrities" (Spedi) to point and laugh at. Too bad abstinence-only programs are so ineffective. This is Bush-era thinking, and havn't we already learned what a waste of time and money all of that was? We are not talking teen pregnancy only, but AIDS prevention, which has proved that "abstinence-only" programs are not addressing the real problem... Teens have sex, and you have to educate them on all the risks and why, not this "promise-Keeper" shit.
Love it! I always liked watching him on film, but I look at him, and others like Brad Pitt and Spielberg and all the other public figures who have used their voices and position to bring attention to this issue that really affects us all. Whether you are gay or straight, this issue is about equality. Can we as a society tolerate discrimination of any kind? One day I hope to marry who I choose. Why don't I deserve that?
