you've misread...she said she knew him a few months over 7 years, meaning he was a little over 7 years old, but not 8 years old. she did NOT only know her son for a few months...come on now! they lived together. she raised her son.
and for all of those who are worried about her logging into myspace, you don't know what and why she was on there. you can't tell this lady how she's suppose to react and what she's suppose to do. you don't know if logging into her myspace was her way of coping. seems like everybody wants her to just sit there and think over and over again about how her mother, brother, and son were all brutally killed. maybe she wanted to log on b/c she knew she had some support from friends who left her comments. who knows? i don't, and none of you do either. you make it seem like she was on there as if nothing happened. how many of us can say that as soon as something happens with us, we're quick to inform facebook and myspace through our statuses, i know i have...granted this is a tragic event, but maybe she just wanted to let everybody know how she was feeling, just like we blog about everything else. bottom line, we don't know her situation, so the whole myspace situation shouldn't be an issue right now.
kudos to your post! i agree!
