My daughter is 12 and I was very surprised to learn that her and her friends are very knowledgable about what Prop 8 is. Many of her friends, my daughter included, are against prop 8 and the reasons why they are against it make much more sense then what I have heard some adults say. Just because they are children doesnt mean that they cant have opinions or that those opinions should not be heard or respected. I do agree that children should not be used to further your own agenda, but if she made this video on her own without being scripted by an adult, then great.. let her views be heard.

I think that, in some cases, Perez purposely misspells words in his blog and I agree that a blog is one thing, a tattoo is another. That sucks that it is misspelled but she has the money to be able to laser it off and start over.

Its not a controversy. While I agree that gays should allowed to be married, this is America and she is free to feel how she wants about the issue.
