HELL NO!!!!!!!!!! This is one movie that you dont screw around with. they shouldnt even have the idea of remaking it! even footloose was a bad idea to remake, but it is nowhere near as iconic as Dirty Dancing. cant people come up with original (well that term is kind of broad, but still) movie ideas nowadays?! stop screwing with our classics, they're classics FOR A REASON!!!!!
