Does anyone have ANY record of Facebook actually USING someone's pictures and passing it off as its own?

Probably not. Because then Facebook would probably lose its user base, along with its advertisers. Just because it technically owns your photos does NOT mean it's going to sell it around for millions of dollars. Think about it realistically, people.
