Okay here is my problem - Jon wanted to leave, he made no secret of it, but TLC wouldn't let him pursue other projects so the only way he can make money is to stay with the show. Then they clearly gave Kate the good edit, and kept cancelling his talk show appearances because they knew they were being difficult with him and didn't want him saying anything. If I were him I would have a really hard time listening to my wife give interview after interview and be freed up to take on other projects like guesting on the view and doing the pilot with Paula Deen, giving only one side of the story when it comes to their marraige. IF TLC wants to fire him or stop him being a part of the show then free him up to do other things. Don't hold him under contract. It's gotta feel like prison! Look, none of these people are good people but the 'person' who'se taken the hardest hit, in my opinion, is TLC. They are only after the preservation of their show and their money machine and are gunning for Jon because he threatens to expose their machinations. Its just wrong what they are doing to him. And I'm not a big fan of his but I still feel that way!

I think honestly Jon gets a bad edit on the show while Kate is painted as a hands on mom who'se grieving, etc. I think Jon is not as douchey (is that a word) as he's profiled, and Kate is not as motherly as she appears. She was recently at a fundraiser and was a snobby diva to several people who reported it. TLC wasn't able to give her the good edit so they're working to spin it as we speak. I'd kinda like to see Jon in something else and get to know him more fairly

My daughter likes him. His songs are bubblegum, innocent pop so I'm okay with it. But, my 'perfect pitch' is scarred with his flat voice when he sings live! Oh well, I'm glad she likes him over some of the other artists right now. I can stand it, I suppose!
