I think you should get your facts straight. The economy was starting to crack before Bush got into office due to government mandates (Carter and Clinton administrations) that made the banks lighten up their credit standards for people who couldn't afford a home. Obama was in bed with the Freddie and Fannie Mae who backed these mortgages. Bush tried regulate the "macs," but Barney Frank (who was sleeping with one of the "mac" people by the way) as well as other senators did not think there was a problem . . . too much self-interest. People, the only thing you are "entitled" to in this country is opportunity.
