Whoever is heading this protest is assuming that ALL Catholics are saying yes to prop 8. You say you are not protesting their religion...well yes you are. You're protesting the Catholic faith because you believe that it is Catholics who are saying yes to prop 8. I am a Catholic and I say no to prop 8. I believe it isn't right to not be able to marry the one you love. I would feel horrible if people would have told me I couldn't marry my husband. So I think this protest is a little off as far as it "not" being a protest against the religion. If it is to be held in front of a Catholic church it should be held in front of a mormon church, a victory outreach church, Jehova witnesses, baptist...and so on. Well I say no to prop 8 and I'm a Catholic.
