on R.I.P. at 09:42 12/26/2008Eartha Kitt was a hero to Boomers everywhere. She was one of the first "regular" mainstream people to speak out against the Vietnam War. She responded truthfully to Lady Bird Johnson at the WHITE HOUSE!!!!!! when asked about the war. Ruined her TV and movie career for years, but her singing remained FAB.
