on Gossiping in the Heights at 08:50 05/16/2009Have read the book and it's Fantabulous. Gemma Atherton has been in some great TV drama, on the other side of the Atlanti, for the BBC (Tess of the D'Urbervilles, based on the Thomas Hardy classic) and in a great ITV series called Lost in Austen. She's more than able for the job! Will definitely go see it. And Ed has the whole badboy thing down, so I reckon it'll be great.

on Separated By A Perm at 04:47 06/30/2008OK, this has been kinda botherin me for a while and maybe it's deliberate, but the whole left/right photo comment thing is not being used as intended...... if it is a mistake, then I'm glad to set the record straight and if it's not, well then I'm just a big dumb-dumb. Could be that it doesn't translate across the Atlantic Ocean.... anyways. It should read left: vintage Janet Jackson, right: Hairspray alum Marissa Jaret Winokur. Glad to be of service!
