Disney executives are to blame- not the show runners. They try to make a good show but it's a battle. just look up the credits of the creators- one wrote Shrek and one ran Friends- talented guys.

I have an adopted child of another race than me and this is exploitative. Adopt a kid because you want someone to love and to experience being a parent. Not to make a TV show. Even if he wants to do it for the right reasons, why in the hell would it be OK to exploit the kid this way. yuck.

the strike threw my family into turmoil financially and it would have been nice for everyone to follow the rules like they were supposed to. probably the guild needs the % of his income they get from dues to keep functioning.
