the more kim kardashian blogs, the more i admire her. i always wrote her off as a moron, but i'm starting to see what a solid head she has on her shoulders--at least on the subject of body image.
the media and society continue to send horrible messages to young women daily, and it's wonderful, not to mention refreshing, to have celebrities come out and comment on real body issues. those that perpetuate warps perceptions of what people should look like through their truly malicious and uninformed comments, including perez and other bloggers on this site: shame on you, as you should be praising this type of positive rationality!
"The album's title [Arular] is the political code name used by her father, Arul Pragasam, during the Tamil independence movements, and themes of conflict and revolution feature heavily in the lyrics."
Close, David B. Guess it was a little deeper than just an album name. Just a little.
i have been sick of all this press on jade goody. thousands, millions of people suffer from cancer everyday. good, caring people are dying every day, and they will never receive the amount of attention or special treatment jade goody has been getting. i don't know much about her, but i never liked her after hearing about her racist rants. in my opinion, she is a nobody. she is not an inspiration, she is not a role model. in fact, this may seem cruel, but her cancer is probably the karma from her antics in the past.
It made my night... I have been rooting for Britney for a long time.
It's easy to talk about fame and judge celebrities, but I would never envy their struggles. At the end of the day, I know who I am and I don't have dozens of people telling me who I should be.
