i'm sorry... scarlet johanson is a terrible actress and will butcher the black widow. anyone who has actually read the comics will agree. they should have gotten an unknown or a lesser known actress and not this hack
i also have tendonitis in my knees and i think that her dropping out is a bunch of crap. It is completely managable and as long as she stretches and takes care of her knees she can dance this season. I played 4 years of rugby on my bad knees and they are still fine today. she either hurt them more than she is letting on or she is a big baby.
eff that. NOTHING can beat the genius of Madeline Kahn and Tim Curry in the 85 version. This should not have even been a thought. Not even Johnny Depp could make me even like a fraction of a remake. How about Gore Verbinski and other directors and studio heads come up with NEW and ORIGINAL material and stop putting out horrible remakes of classic movies.
I am a big Marvel Comic nerd. I can honestly say that Scarlett Johanson would be one of the WORST choices for the Black Widow. Emily Blunt is a much better choice. Not only does she look the part but she is a much better actress. Studios need to stop with the "big names" and actually pick people who would do a good job in the role. They replaced Terrance Howard for similar reasons so it would be absurd to then cast Black Widow as poorly.
Honestly they should pick someone who isn't as huge as ScarJo so they can have a Black Widow spin-off. Her story line is far to interesting to ignore and Iron Man 2 would be a really good place to set audiences up for the character.
