quit being so touchy. the fact of the matter is that the guys weren't very good dancers, which is why they didn't make it thru to the next round. Perhaps Nigel was insensitive, but the point was that they'd be paired with girls in the next round anyway. It's a far better show than idol, and on the whole I don't think it is a homophobic show. Many of the dancers and choreographers are gay, and no one seems to have an issue with it.

Having an underactive thyroid isn't an excuse, it is a real medical issue. It would be nice if people who didn't have to deal with thyroid problems would take the time to understand it's not something that can be easily fixed, or that you can lose the weight if you just try hard enough. Trust me, that isn't the case. If your thyroid doesn't work, the weight will not come off, no matter how many hours a day you spend on the treadmill. It's an enormously frustrating condition to live with, aside from the weight gain there are all sorts of other symptoms and side effects including infertility, and people who just write it off as a fat person's excuse to eat too much make it all that much harder to live with.

horrible, and mean. I had a friend die from anorexia, and a lot more that nearly did, that started because someone called her fat. This is terrible. Shame on the NY Post for propagating this negative idea that a woman who maybe wears a size 4 could be fat.
