What exactly would it hurt to push the debate back until after this weekend? It's a whopping 4 days. Let's get this thing figured out before this country crashes and burns. I don't think it has anything to do with multi-tasking and has everything to do with being able to recognize a crisis and deal with it - especially when you consider what kind of solution the Bush administration is currently offering. If what's on the table passes then we're all screwed.
