on Bale's Verbal Barrage! Christian Will Eff A Bitch Up at 18:22 02/02/2009Seriously? This man is screaming at someone else about their level of professionalism? That was disgusting. We've all heard tales of diva behavior before but to actually hear it in action was horrifying. Shame on that director for not taking control of the situation. Obviously CB needed to vent but he shouldn't be allowed to abuse someone else like that. Someone needs to put that little fool in the corner for a really long time-out. What a pig.

on It's Gonna Be Exciting at 12:42 09/30/2008NO, her "crime" is not being conservative. The criminal part of this situation is that she is not qualified for this position. Period. Don't turn this into a "pick on the poor housewife from Alaska". That is the LAST thing this is. This is about looking at the merit of the candidate without considering gender. This is about her just not being "good" enough for this position. Sorry. It is NOT about gender but playing the "poor housewife from Alaska" card is making it about gender.

on It's Gonna Be Exciting at 12:39 09/30/2008I don't want a "folksy" American in office. I want to see someone who is highly intelligent, intensely educated (YES, from a GOOD school, not five random colleges) and well-versed in politics and public speaking. If I want an "average" American, I'll go have a beer with someone at the American Legion. I agree, calling Sarah Palin a bimbo isn't necessarily fair - I doubt a man displaying her attributes - Dan Quayle? - would be called a bimbo - although I honestly question people that seriously pursue beauty pageant titles - so we should use non-sexist language to describe her: she's an ambitious, arrogant individual of fair-to-middling intelligence that is good at being sarcastic and tight little beauty pageant waves. She is not mentally and verbally flexible enough for the position of VP. If you review her political record in Alaska you will find a culture of cronyism and inappropriate behavior. She got dominated by Katie Couric, for crying out loud, no offense to Katie, but come on, she needs to be able to do better than that. She is NOT an acceptable candidate, and I don't care if she's male or female. I hope that Joe Biden takes her down, down to Chinatown.
