I only responded to that post because it seemed like there was some confusion about the term "cut" cocaine, as some readers have thought it was a drug like antabuse that helps people stay off of alcohol. And I hope you have never made a mistake in your life so that people don't have to judge you as harshly as you are judging someone that you don't even know. Whether or not someone goes to heaven is determined by God only, not an angry, negative, unforgiving, ridiculing person such as yourself.
OK i've just done some research and numerous websites are reporting that "Scientific studies suggest levamisole might give cocaine a more intense high, possibly by increasing levels of dopamine, the brain's "feel-good" neurotransmitters as it "elevates opiate levels in various brain regions, like codeine and morphine." One published study reports that Cocaine adulterated with levamisole may be a cause of febrile agranulocytosis in cocaine users. Clinicians should consider the possibility of exposure to levamisole-adulterated cocaine in patients with otherwise unexplained fever and agranulocytosis.
Agranulocytosis: A marked decrease in the number of granulocytes. Granulocytes are a type of white blood cell filled with microscopic granules that are little sacs containing enzymes that digest microorganisms.
Granulocytes are part of the innate, somewhat non specific infection-fighting immune system. They do not respond exclusively to specific antigens, as do B-cells and T-cells.
a drug used to cut cocaine is what coke dealers do in order to 1) decrease the strength of the cocaine or 2) to stretch out the amount of coke so that when they weigh a gram bag of it, it still weighs out correctly, but it isn't all cocaine. It's a trick of the trade that they use so they can make more money. Which tells me the crack DJ AM was smoking was probably not all that great...
Substance abuse isn't accidental, but being an addict is. Nobody intends on becoming an addict! With all of those drugs in his system, I don't know how they would be able to determine whether it was an accident or not, unless he just had 1 pill of each drug in his system. I'm really sorry he's gone and my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, who I know have really been hit hard by his death. RIP Adan...I still have mad love and respect for you and will never forget you!
