you people are HILARIOUS! "i don't want my second grader exposed to that garbage what a waste of tax payer money!! OMGZZZZZ!!!1!!omg!"
seriously, learning about it isn't going to make your kids gay. and if that is your number one fear for your child as a parent, there is something incredibly wrong with you....there are terrible things out there like drugs, pedophiles, etc. and you're worried about your kid turning out gay? please. you need a reality check and fast. and are you seriously going to say that if your child is gay you're not going to love him or her anymore? i feel bad for your children if that's truly the case.
yeah if i had children [and when i do have them in the future] i would want them to learn this. i would want them to be raised by myself and by society to not be judgemental, shallow, narrow minded individuals. i want them to accept everyone for thier differences and not hate people just because they are being who they are. is that wrong? i don't think so. sheltering your kids from reality is more damaging than however damaging you might think homosexuality is. and for the record, learning about homosexuality doesn't make you gay.
