I went to PS6 (grade school) with Damon. We were in the same class and friends, not BBF or anything but we were in class and had sleep overs, kid shit. I was scared the first time I went to his apt, he lived in a tough area and I certainly did not. He was a nice kid then, tough, not like a thug or a punk, but he was just a tough kid from the projects who didn't take shit. He kept my ass from getting kicked a couple of times. I was happy to read he had become such a success because except for his brains, the cards were not in his favor. I'm sorry to read that this has happened to him. I have to admit to schadenfreude for other punk celebrities who blow all their money, but not for him.
