my friend met the jonas brothers back when they weren't famous, and nick & joe were completely rude to her while she was having a convo with kevin, and so when she left kevin apologized for how the other two were acting, and she said, "it's okay, you can't control the divas."
bahahaha.
joe & nick had big heads THEN BEFORE they were famous, i can't even imagine how slef-absorbed they are now.
funny how it's alright to hate and boycott someone cause of their views and because they're a mormon, but if i said told people to boycott a place cause it's ran by gay people, it'd be "wrong".
wtf?
what's all this unfair hate about?
mormon's aren't bad people.
you're a bad person for spreading this type of hate.
i love how now that people are protesting outside of catholic buildings, everyone is saying how wrong it is.. but when you talk about doing it to the mormons, it seems to be acceptable.
wtf?
mormons only make up 2% of california, and you also have to take into account that NOT all of them supported Prop 8.
so since when does less than 2% = the 51% majority that allowed it to be passed??
I find it quite wrong that you want to blame the LDS church for Prop 8 getting passed, when there clearly aren't enough members of the Church in the state of California to have passed it by themselves.
The Church never donated money to support Prop 8. Members themselves might have, but NOT the Church itself. It has always been a firm belief in the Church that marriage should only be between a man and a woman, and so this is nothing new.
Although I feel that everyone should get married, and that religious beliefs shouldn't be forced on people who don't feel the same, blaming the LDS church for the 51% of California citizens who voted yes on Prop 8 is a form of cowardness, dishonesty, and hate.
The only regions of California where Prop 8 was voted against were near Los Angeles and San Fransisco. The rest of the state was for it.
Clearly, the Mormons aren't even close to entirely to blame for this.
Spreading hate and being disrespectful towards their beliefs is just as wrong as someone doing the same towards the gay community.
If you're going to blame people for what happened, then make sure you blame the CORRECT people (aka the 51% of Californians who voted for Prop 8, NOT just the Mormons.)

people voted.
the votes were counted.
this is the result.
GET OVER IT.
it's not going to change a thing.
go get a life & contribute to society,
instead of marching around like a bunch of idiots.
i'm against prop 8 too,
but this is just getting way out of hand.
