I'd never even heard of her before this so maybe the publicity has increased her level of "fame" - I use that term loosely, but nobody derves cancer. You've obviously never had someone close to you suffer from it.

My child was diagnosed with a rare tumour in Mar 08 at 13 mths old and was given a 20% shot at survival after 36 wks of chemo, surgery, more chemo and radiation. She's about to turn 2 and is now cancer free!! Cancer is scary but can be beaten.
