I have raised a baby squirrel and had to keep him in my bra while small because they have to keep warm, and so he could feel and hear my heartbeat. Not an unusual practice. Squirrels are intelligent, loving creatures. My squirrel never bit me and loved me like I was his mother. The day I released Link was a sad one for me but a happy one for him.
