CHECK YOUR FACTS Mr.Perez! Wednesday Night (8:00-11:00 p.m.)
In fact it is ABC's 4th straight week to deliver year-to-year Wednesday gains among young adults, up on each week since the season premiere of "Lost."
"Lost" (9:00-10:00 p.m.) Despite going up against the second hour of an extended 2-hour installment of "American Idol," self-starter "Lost" shot up from its lead-in by 5.4 million viewers (9.8 million vs. 4.4 million) and by 175% in young adults (4.4/10 vs. 1.6/4) and built its audience from start to finish. "Lost" registered as Wednesday's No. 1 scripted TV show for the 4th week in a row among Adults 18-49. In its hour, "Lost" beat out its CBS drama competition ("Criminal Minds") by 33% in Adults 18-49 (4.4/10 vs. 3.3/8) and by 132% in Adults 18-34 (4.4/11 vs. 1.9/5). The ABC drama was also the night's highest-rated scripted series with Adults 18-34 for the 3rd consecutive week.
* "Lost" matched its highest-rated telecast in nearly a year with Men 18-34 (4.5/12) - since 2/28/08.
Please Note: Based on the first round of DVR data for the show this season released earlier this week, "Lost" saw its overall audience grow by 1.9 million viewers and jump 18% in Adults 18-49 (+0.9) from its first-reported Live
I don't get The Wrestler winning anything and frankly, Mad Men might be one of the most beautifly executed shows on right now but personally (and I watch a LOT af TV) it's...boring. Did not deserve the best show award. John Adams was quite good (I'm not american so it was a good history lesson). Have not seen Slumdog yet so I can't judge and..well, I'm actually a True Blood fan and Miss Paquin did alright but onvce more I think her performance didn't really outshine that of the other nominees (read did not deserve GG, maybe an Emmy...). I'm getting sick of these crappy award shows.
Yep, an actor I've never heard of or seen before...although that doesn't mean much to be honest.....I wonder if they all put on that disgusting accent for his sake (So as not yo have one obviously Spanish actor vs. British ones when the characters portrayed are all from Spain)?....I hope not
Oh, forgot to say! Garcia Lorca : Openly gay (one of the reasons he was executed during Civil War in 1936) Dali : NOT gay...he was, how should I put it...an experimenting guy. He tried everything, in every sense of the word, but according to his own testimony he never actually had sex with GL...although they apparently tried!
Ok, I created an avatar just to comment on this..... being Spanish and having studied Dali's and Garcia Lorca's real relationship and after reading what the movie is about I can't help but cringe a little...to be honest what pisses me off is the AWFUL accent they speak in!WTF!!They are all english speaking actors (BTW why is that???Couldn't find decent Spanish actors to play two of our nation's gratest artists!?)so why do they make them speak like brits-trying-to-sound-like-spaniards-who-can't-speak-english?? As for Rob, well, can't speak about his acting skill since I haven't even seen Twilight yet (opens in DECEMBER in Europe!) and despite his hottness...anyone else notice his nose seems really TINY in this flic??
