Im sorry did you say am I "stupidor something?" Yeah thats what I thought. Yes I have heard of resources and this planet has an abundance of them. We have more trees today then when this country was formed, look it up, and you know why? Because we farm trees for things and because it is a necessary commodity, growers ensure their population. I am all for renewable technology, I think thats a great thing, I think using our resources in a smarter way is necessary. But the argument of overpopulation whether you are citing the impact of increased carbon dioxide emissions from humans or whether you are making the resources argument are both flawed. This is the same tripe that has been said since the 70's and its absolute nonsense. There is no proof of either argument, just anecdotal evidence that depending on the study either supports or opposes your argument. The argument really is between renewable and non renewable resources, non renewable resources will have to be replaced by technology whether or not the population increases or decreases. It wont matter, either way it will run out, making your argument ideologically based on preconceived notions that are ill informed and not on the actual facts of population growth.
Wow, speaking proper English isnt really your strong suit. I assume when you ask if I am a "fundie" you are asking if I am a fundamentalist Christian? No, sorry to disappoint, but Im not religious. I do however, believe in math and logic, which may be difficult for you to grasp. I could care less if people have kids or not, but "overpopulation" is an insipid argument when you divide the population by land mass. Its absolute nonsense. Do yourself a favor, pick up a book and read it, learn about land density compared to population and try actually thinking for yourself. Just calling names is ignorant and easy, and frankly you are outmatched so I would just move on before you embarrass yourself further.
Of course it wouldnt be ideal if everyone actually lived in the state of Texas, but its not a myth, they could and would fit. Even in China with its billions of people most of that countries population is relegated to big cities. With LOTS of open space, the fact that everyone could fit into one state or two in one country just demonstrates the stupidity of that argument. If you dont want to have kids fine, but dont claim its due to "overpopulation," thats nonsense.
The world is not at all over populated. You could fit the entire worlds 6 billion people in the state of Texas, each have a 2000 square foot house, look it up. Shes just an idiot. People from LA or New York who come from populated cities assume the whole world is just as populated. Have these people never taken a flight across country? There is so much open space in our country and others its ridiculous. Another case of a pseudo intellectual celebrity trying to sound smart but doesnt have a clue what they are talking about.
