If she was on her way to set, then she probably looked like that on purpose. Doing hair and make up for a movie is easiest on a 'clean slate,' freshly washed hair with no product and a clean face with no make up.

actually, seal's scars are not from acne but from lupus.. he had it as a child and it caused his face to blister and scar.
