i know this is disappointing, but most of the country is not as liberal as we are. also, don't praise clinton too soon, she once stumbled when she refused to answer if she thought gay people were morally correct. clearly she can't believe that bullshit but she has to at least pretend to pacify the majority of the country, just like obama and biden do, who are uncomfortable with gay marriage. also, there are much more important issues at stake right now in our country, and gay marriage will have to take a backseat. it's really easy to be critical of obama, but he needs to govern from the center, just like clinton did. it'd be great if he had an idealist, but what we need is a pragmatist.

what bothers me about this image that you put up is that gays can be black, white. asian, latino, whatever. invoking the hatred that blacks in this country experienced for centuries, the colonial mindset that they still feel today is WRONG. yes, prop. 8 seeks to overturn gay marriage in California, and that really sucks and is taking away the equal protection of Californians under the laws, but it is NOTHING compared to the violence, bigotry and hatred that African Americans in this country have experienced. You can't even begin to compare the two. Gays in this country don't wonder about their heritage (unless they are a minority) because their ancestors were brought here on slave ships.

i think she looks really healthy. she's also really young which is something to keep in mind..when i was 16 about 5 years ago i was that skinny as well. also, you can usually tell if someone is starving themselves by looking at their face..hers is still full and healthy looking.
