Stop making excuses for Chris and stop trying to nit pick the details in an attempt to understand it for yourself. No one but them were there and saying "well i just know she hit him first" just makes you delusional to both the reality that these people are just like thousands of other couples who go through similar situations and to the actual events that can lead to violence. There does NOT have to be a valid reason to become violent. Impulse and one wrong move are all it takes. He could very possibly be a sweet and caring person but EVERYONE, every human being is capable of the most horrific things. If you can't accept that, you don't know very much about yourself or other people. These excuses are signs of your own inadequacies so maybe you shouldn't comment if you're too ignorant to open your eyes to the truth and grow up. =)
