He is neither wrong nor disgusting. He is a man of faith, and his religious beliefs tell him that homosexuality is wrong. I am a Republican and differ on this belief, but I am not a religious person. To say that Huckabee is wrong and disgusting is to say his faith is so, because that is what dictates his beliefs and THAT, Perez, is wrong and disgusting.

It's hard to argue with the people who voted for prop 8 because many of them base their vote on their religious beliefs. I'm a republican, but not a very religious person and I wholeheartedly support complete and total equal rights for homosexuals. I don't see anything legally or morally wrong with it, but many religious people do, and no matter how many facts you throw at them, they will continue to see things their way.

It's not shocking at all. We are Americans first, not Republicans first. Unlike many people who wear "not my president" shirts and other ridiculous things to voice their opposition to Bush, we realize and accept that Obama is our president. We will support the office of the presidency, but we do not have to support the policies of the president. Republicans, in my experience, are always professional. i cannot say the same for Democrats I have encountered here at college.

In reality, theDOW is up 40 points in the last month, 18% in the past 5 years, and up 44% in the past 10 years. so, the market CAN sort itself out. The market is not in charge of people giving out bad loans and mortgages to people they knew had no way of paying it just to make a quick buck. Republican policies had nothing to do with the banking crisis, greedy people have everything to do with it. Seriously, Perez, stop trying to be a political pundit and go back to what you do best and why I read: silly celebrity gossip
