that concert was in Halifax, NS. I was there and it was the most amazing show i've ever been to. my daughter and i were totally jealous of this girl LOL!! she's one lucky lady!! :)
It's disgusting how in the US, people who spew hate speech hide behind "free speech". Here in Canada, that would be classified as hate speech, plain and simple and rightfully so. We're talking about a radio station that is on the free airwaves where anyone can listen. It's not a premium paid-for station, like on satellite radio. Everyone involved in this needs to be held accountable...the employees who made the comments, and the station for allowing them to spew garbage over the public airwaves.
These comments veer well out of the realm of "insensitive" and are plain hateful and demeaning and violent. Yes, I believe in free speech, but y'all take it too far. Say what you want, but be prepared to be held accountable and suffer the consequences for offensive, violent remarks. Don't hide behind your Constitutional rights and use them as an excuse so you can promote violence against minorities.
WTF? He's ALREADY out, for god's sake! He's not even IN the closet. If he were in the closet he'd be pretending to be straight in his private life, which he does NOT do...HE IS OUT. His brother has confirmed that Adam is gay, so it's not like he's in hiding or anything.
Jesus, Perez...it's NOT your life mission to "out" gay people. Adam is already OUT, he just doesn't see it as a big deal to take about his sexuality. HIS SEXUALITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS TALENT OR HIS PERFORMING, so why does he need to talk about it? You're getting REALLY annoying with this, Perez. Give it up already.
I love Gwen, but come ON. I'm sure they picked the name for a reason...like Gwen played Zuma a lot during her pregnancy, or they conceived on Zuma Beach or while listening to Neil Young's album of the same name...but it's a ridiculous name for a child. Nesta I can get behind because of the Marley connection, and Rock makes sense considering what Gwen and Gavin are famous for in the first place.
I just joked to my boyfriend that I'm changing our 2 year old's name to Poppit! (with the exclamation point included). or maybe i'll have another baby and name her Call of Duty 4, or Grand Theft Auto 4.
I have an unusual name, and it was hell growing up always spelling it or explaining where my parents came up with it. I LOATHE "wacky" names now. My kids have traditional names (spelled the PROPER way) and that's the way i like it!
Ugh. I hate this song. She's what I call a "dancefloor lesbian"...you know the ones...the girls who grind all over each other in bars and take "shocking" pictures of themselves kissing each other, but they wouldn't lay a finger on another girl if they were sober and not in a bar.
I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be a one-hit wonder.
