Because Angelina Jolie doesn't try to adopt a child in clear opposition of the laws of that country. Not trying to be argumentative, because I think they're both obssessed baby whores, but sometimes money can't buy you everything you want. Annoydbyeu said it best, if she was so intent on adopting Mercy for the past 2 years, she could have happily taken time off for that period of time, which would have fulfilled the residency requirement. Honestly! Why do you think there are so many "scheduled c-sections"? Personally, if I had the money, I would have gotten a tummy tuck after the birth of my daughter, because that is the hardest weight to lose, especially if you're not breastfeeding. If you're so closed minded as to feel as though homosexuality is detrimental to children, then why not go live in the mountains by yourself? You'll never have to explain the scary homosexuals to your four year old again. I don't see why you have to go into depth about such complex topics with such small children. If a child asks "Mommy, why are those two men holding hands?", then the simple answer would be, "Because they like/love each other." Simple as that. If your child asks you where babies come from, are you going to whip out a porno? No! So stop using children as excuses for withholding a basic human right from a group of people.

What is so unfair? Seeing as he worked hard for his money, he should be entitled to do whatever he wants with it. It's not like he said he was going to blow the money on crack and not give any to his children, but instead fund his arts program. Just because he has children doesn't mean that they should expect anything. If they are grown adults, then I don't see the problem. They didn't earn the money by being born.
