If they were engaged in 1995, she would be 19 or 20, which is waaaay too young to even think about marriage (unless you're LDS, in which case you would be an old maid). Who DOESN'T screw up relationships when they're 20?! You're kind of supposed to, so you learn from your mistakes and be prepared for your ACTUAL marriage down the road (well, looks like Kate didn't, but whatever).

THANK YOU PEREZITO!! BESOS!! TSC affects more people than you think (it even gets called out on "House"--and how can you possibly resist learning about anything that comes out of Hugh Laurie's hot hot mouth?) My oldest friend is a warrior for this cause--her sister passed away last year--and the more people learn about it (she got Ryan Seacrest to pronounce it correctly on Idol last year!) the closer we will get to a cure.
