I took my daughter and her friends, and none of us can remember seeing Brit fall, so if she did, it wasn't anything big at all, especially since she finished the show. As to the asspit that jumped on stage, he stopped about 8 feet away, and never attempted to touch or grab Brit, and she never lost her step, just kept dancin.
It's like this... I'm am white, and no matter how hard I try, I can never be black, therefore I can never benefit from Affirmative Action" laws, and I can never be Native American, therefore I can never benefit from laws that specifically benefit and promote them, that's just the way it is, and I live with it because I am proud of who I am, and all that I have done for myself. I'm an individual, and I don't want to have laws made to make others more accepting of me. For the record, I am straight, not that it matters, and I have gay friends, and do not care what they want to do in their lives, but I do believe that the straight community has had an exclusive hold on the institution of marriage, and should continue to do so. So why can't the gay community just go back to feeling that it was ok to be different, have "your" version of "our" marriage, but call it something else? Make up some fancy colorful new name, or use a simple term that everyone finds agreeable... like "Coupled", or "Joined", but let us straight people have the word "Married"....... Please.
p.s. I am proud that Miss California spoke from her heart and conscience, this world would be a much better place if more people could be like her.
