And even if she does put a "hold" on songs, legendary and iconic singers who have a lot of clout and ability to be choosy are allowed to do that. It's part of the game and I'm sure all big acts exercise that right. Songwriters are more than willing to wait on a song to see if Reba will record it instead of some random other country act that is nowhere near as important as Reba.
