Ok ignorant! Here are the facts- -Mormons make up less than 2% of the population of California. There are approximately 800,000 LDS out of a total population of approximately 34 million. -Mormon voters were less than 5% of the yes vote. If one estimates that 250,000 LDS are registered voters (the rest being children), then LDS voters made up 4.6% of the Yes vote and 2.4% of the total Proposition 8 vote. -African Americans overwhelmingly supported Yes on 8. Exit polls show that 70% of Black voters chose Yes on 8. This was interesting because the majority of these voters voted for President-elect Obama. No on 8 supporters had assumed that Obama voters would vote No on 8. -The majority of Latino voters voted Yes on 8. Exit polls show that the majority of Latinos supported Yes on 8 and cited religious beliefs (assumed to be primarily Catholic). Stop being stupid!
PEREZ why do you keep promoting hate? The people voted an ENTIRE STATE! Not just one religious group. MOVE ON! I cant stand OBAMA yet I have accepted it. Its called grow up and deal!
P.S. Mormons are nothing like Scientologists! We don't believe in Aliens taking our spirits, we don't make you tell your deep dark secrets and then blackmail you with them, we don't make you take a second mortgage out on your house to "help you"! My Dad was in the Scientology CULT a while its scary! Luckily he got the clue whe they kept asking for more and more $money$! NOTHING like or vaguely close to being a MORMON!
You know what Perez. I used to stand up for you and your blog. I am Pro Union. When did your blog turn to a hate site? You of all people should know what its like to be targeted and/or hated. So why would you condone and promote something like this? Just because you didn't get your way? Remember the STATE of California voted not just 1 religion! The STATE made a decision. Just because it wasn't what you wanted you promote hate? It makes me sick.
