I remember it only too well. We had a bunch of televisions all in a row in the front lobby of our office (Pierce Promotions). Everyone was standing around then transfixed. The city of Portland had a memorial that Friday uptown. I stayed in the office and wrote a song instead. I still play it every so often. Here are the lyrics:

I LOVE this guy! Best Bond since Sean, hands down. I just love the fact that he gets the crap kicked out of him so hard. Gritty, way more "real" and believable than any other bond actor (direction as well) ever. Sigh, now I'm left here sitting at work, daydreaming at half-mast...
