Get the FACTS straight...this amendment does not "take away" from gay couples having rights as a couple, it simply means keeps them from calling it a "marriage" which is defined as one man one woman. The people creating this bill do not "hate gay people" or anyone for that matter and just want to simply keep the definition of marriage as one man and one woman. Gay couples can still have unions and rights as a couple, just don't call it a "marriage." BTW...I heart you Perez :)
