Petra is amazing - I lived in Eilat, Israel in 1994-95 and went to the ribbon cutting between Jordan and Israel (at Aqaba and Eilat) and then to Petra a couple of weeks later. It's really quite beautiful!

I saw the Seattle production and agree with needing to add more of a character actor for the Donkey. I also agree that some reworking needs to happen - especially in the first act. The second act was pretty tight - the first act was about 2 songs too long and the story, itself, needed to tighten up. The performances, however, were pretty great!!
