The Spanish authorities have inexplicably said that Drugs and Alcohol were not the cause of Stephen's death. So please stop saying he choked on his own vomit. It appears that he had an underlying heart condition and nobody (acute means it happened suddenly) saw it coming.

For all of you speculating, his family released a statement to say it wasn't Drug related, there was no fowl play involved, it was an tragic accident.
Some here are speculating that he may have choked on his own vomit after a night out. He fell asleep on the sofa. Stephen wasn't a "partier" so let that be a lesson to us all who have the odd "mad" night out. This happens more than people think!
