Susan is fierce! America loves her, even if my British compatriots do not. I'm a big Susan fan, and I've seen first-hand how much American adores this woman. Her story is as inspirational as any. She should have won. But I suppose after Adam Lambert lost American Idol, anything is possible. Hell, I half-expect Barack Obama to lose the election now, and it was over six months ago. :(

I'm a pseudo Nashvillian (I live about 45 minutes north in KY, but I'm in Nashville A LOT) and I can tell you that this man has a horrid reputation about town. Obviously he's been in Nashville longer than he's been famous, and over the years he's made quite a few enemies. Of course, we in the Nashville gay community can't stand the homophobic dick, so any bad news for him is good news for us.

Part of me really doesn't want to watch this, but it's like a train wreck. But mad props to Simon Cowell for letting her have a do-over. She's clearly a talented little girl, and she was only nervous. Hell, I'm 23, and if you put me under that sort of pressure, I might very well forget the words and cry, too!
