They both need to to return to Washington and work for a bipartisan solution. Thats what they are being paid to do. The annual salary of each senator, as of 2008, is $169,300; the party leaders receive $188,100. We the people are paying them, to work for us & find solutions to our problems as a nation. Politics can wait! They are both Senators, and need to deal with the responsibilities of that office . Seriously, if they can't do that, then what kind of presidents will they make!
