I taught his daughter Satchel swimming lessons in NY a few years ago. She was surprisingly laid back & normal, especially compared to some of the other brats I taught in the same class (yes, she took a semi-private class, not 1 on 1). I remember asking her what she got for Christmas & expecting a ridiculous list, but it was normal (American Girl doll, barbies, etc….) Spike Lee has made some great, thought provoking movies, but he definitely isn’t making Spielberg money.
