Beckham was neither fearless nor had an incredible work rate as a player-he was a steady and creative midfielder who had an uncanny skill with set piece plays. However, he was not strong on the ball and was criticized his entire career for having poor pace. When he was playing poorly he would become petulant and would commit foolish fouls---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IGNORANCE much are we??! Beckham IS one of the fearless footballers in his generation and he IS one of the most hardworking footballers ever existed! Clearly you have NEVER known about David "Goldenballs" Beckham only until he came to USA. And then you just believe what the US/UK press written about him after he moved there WITHOUT ever watching him in a game or following his works/life since the beginning for a minute!
