The ones that recieve homes are injured vets. My brother in law was one of the fortunate to recieve a home from Homes for our Troops. He lost one leg in Iraq and the other is severly damage from a road side bomb. He has 2 small children and will not be able to work a normal job. Homes for our Troops purchased a home and remodeled it to be handicap accessible him. It is an awesome thing and I encourage anyone that can donate to do so.
