so in your mind it is better to ignore hate and ignorance uttered? it is unfortunate that you interpret "cry baby" to be someone that speaks out against something/someone. good thing most of the world doesn't think about you because it would be like living in the 14th Century.
lol perez is sorry that no one warned him enough!!!! yeah right!!!! you take such pleasure in verbally destroying people and taking joy in their misery...BUT when what you contribute to happens... i.e. going to rehab, dying, or their careers are destroyed...THEN you feel sorry for them. you are disgusting Perez/Mario!!!!
1. People never have to like the "author" to read something they write. In fact, it is important to read and listen to many different ideas and people for a broader perspective and to stay informed.
2. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech and expression. Unfortunately, Perez abuses this right on a daily basis to make a living. When others express this right (e.g., Prejean) Perez victimizes them and seeks to personally destroy their lives and careers.
3. Violence is not limited to physical. The amount of violence Perez inflicts on others everyday and the amount of hurt they ensue has consequences. It is a sad society when someone like Perez can even make a living on something so degrading. How do we allow someone like Perez to flourish?
4. Saying you are a gay rights activist, and then using a defamatory word to the gay community against someone else completely revokes your so called “activism.”
5. This is not a special case. Perez is not a special person. Hopefully the fact that a self-conscious and lonely man that torments many people’s lives ended up on CNN after he instigated a fight, will shock everyone back into reality. Hopefully the passion that people have put into speaking about this can go into something useful, like curing cancer, and helping the malnourished.
6. Whoever hit Perez should be brought to justice. Perez should be brought to justice as well by the hundreds of people he has “hit.”
