Obviously YOU don't realize that the majority of the world is not Christian. Why should we live our lives to follow YOUR religious beliefs rather than our own? Read the Bible all you want, but remember there are a lot of contradictions in that book. Unless everyone in the world, or even the country, suddenly accepts the same religion it's not right to make laws based on only one group's beliefs.

I really don't understand all of the fuss over this girl. She's not ugly, exactly, but she's definitely not beautiful. I see better looking women in real life every day, was she just chosen to be a model because of her height and lean body?

This has nothing to do with the stereotype of lesbians hating bisexuals. This is about women who are truly lesbian or bisexual being angry that Katy Perry is just latching onto something that she's never been about to sell albums. She's never kissed a girl, she's never been attracted to women, and her crappy song is just continuing the stereotype of slutty, trashy "bisexual" straight women who are really only kissing and messing around with other girls to get male attention. We thought that annoying trend was finally dying down but thanks to Katy Perry it made a roaring comeback. Listen to an episode of the Lesbian Podcast sometime - they can't stand her and make snarky comments about her all the time. Most of the lesbians and true bisexuals that I know feel this way about her. The only reason Perez kisses her ass is because she pays attention to him and he has a pathological desire to be liked. Then there's the issue of Katy Perry making crap music. It's just uninspired fluff and if Perez hadn't shoved her down our throats so often she'd have died away already. Beth Ditto may be a big girl but she is very talented and actually writes her own music.

All of her songs sound the same, there is nothing unique or cutting edge about her. I am the same way. I have never had a credit card but when I applied for credit to rent my first apartment I was told that I didn't have enough credit history, so I couldn't rent without a cosigner. I was a teenager - why on Earth should any teenager have a credit history?! Nobody needs to be spending with credit at that age, it just causes the kind of problems our economy has now. My Dad tried to cosign and my parents have spotless credit, but they only buy things outright, long ago paid off their mortgage, buy their cars outright instead of putting them on payment plans, and save the credit cards for emergencies, so the apartment complex told us that my Dad's credit was "not active enough". It was ridiculous. I ended up having to prepay the entire lease just to rent. Everything requires a credit history now and I don't think it's fair that those of us who choose to be frugal and buy what we can afford rather than living on credit are penalized for not having "enough" credit or an "active enough" credit profile. It's punishing those of us who are responsible with our money and that isn't right.
