For those of us who can afford glasses and contacts, corrected vision is something that we all take for granted. As an optometry student, we currently take trips to Mexico to provide vision screenings and lenses to those people who can not otherwise afford them. Those people are so extremely happy to have corrected vision. This is an excellent cause Perez and I just donated!! Those of you saying that we should donate to the victims of the hurricane instead of this clearly don't realize how tragic it really is to go through life not being able to see the way that most other people can!
