She tries to be controversial by repackaging things that weren't even controversial in the 80s. The only reason she is famous is for a song that was a rip off of Jill Sobule and Jill did it 9 million times better. Even the "I pick my nose and fart" thing was already done by Jenny McCarthy. It isn't shocking or wacky anymore. I cannot wait for Perez to realize this girl is going nowhere and he starts writing nasty things about her. When it is said that we are 99.9% alike, according to DNA, that is talking about the string of letters within the gene. Our DNA is also 99.9% identical to Neanderthal. 99.5% identical to chimpanzees and 85% identical to mice. That does not mean we cannot differentiate between those groups. There are nearly 3 and a half billion nucleotides of the human genome, many variations (including those which distinguish geographical location and into groups such as Caucasoid, Congoid, Australoid, etc...) within those sequences can still have us nearly similar at 99.9%.
