She's going through exactly what I went through when I was a teenager. I had a horrible bought of coughing from a few illnesses and my lung half collapsed. A chest tube didn't work so they had to go in, do regular surgery and repair my lung.

This is nasty stuff and I wish her well and hope she heals up soon.
